These terms govern your use of Echo, an iOS app developed and operated by Lumarion Technologies Sdn. Bhd. (registered in Malaysia, company number 202601001066). By installing or using the app, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

Echo lets you scan business cards, extract contact information via OCR and AI, and generate personalized follow-up messages you can send via WhatsApp or email. The service runs on your device and relies on third-party AI infrastructure (Google Gemini) for the message-generation step.

2. Free and paid tiers

New users receive 3 free scans. After that, continued use of the scan and AI-message features requires an active subscription:

All purchases are processed by Apple via StoreKit. Subscription prices may change with notice; existing renewals at the prior price will be honored until the next billing period.

3. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel an auto-renewing subscription at any time via Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device. All refunds are handled by Apple per their standard refund policy.

5. AI-generated content

Messages drafted by Echo are generated by AI and may contain inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and editing any message before sending. We do not guarantee the correctness, appropriateness, or fitness for any specific purpose of AI-generated text.

6. Intellectual property

The app, its design, branding, and source code are owned by Lumarion Technologies Sdn. Bhd. Content you create with the app (your scans, your edits, your messages) remains yours.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lumarion Technologies Sdn. Bhd. shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app. Total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Changes

We may update these terms as the app evolves. Material changes will be announced in-app before they take effect.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Penang, Malaysia.
